standard one mate but you have to shorten it by about 30mm

The problem with the yukspeed sump is that it fouls the cross member if you want the engine to sit low down. its fine on a wcxm and mounts but you need a big tunnel to do that.

i know Mk2stu on here had a lot of problems with engine positioning using that sump and chassis mounts.

I've used it with a wcxm and clearance is very minimal plus the prop its the tunnel.

If you get one and get stuck gimme a shout and i'll tell you how i got round it

cheers mate, the sump is steel isnt it? (yukspeed) i want to chassis mount it so bearing that in mind,to get the engine nice and low could the sump be modified to miss the x-member? or is it simply too close?.sorry to be a pain.

Ok, this is my very shite attempt at a diagram.

This is the basic shape of the Yuk sump and shows that if you want to lower the engine in the bay you'd also have to move it back because of that 45 degree angle on the sump.

to use it like this you need to shorten the pick up 30mm ish where marked

My idea to mod the sump is cut the 45 degree angle out and make it into a 90 degree bend further back to clear the x member. you'd have to lengthen the pick up so it sits further back in the sump as where it sits now is just above that 45 deg part but i reckon it'd work
