Is there any reason y the manifold has to b alloy is it sumthin to do with the heat???

Do you mean to fit bike carbs to cars or bike manifolds in general?

I don't know about bikes but heat is not really an issue on car manifolds i would not think.

you try touching your intake manifold right after a run

yeah it will be hot. but i was not sure what question steve_D was asking, try touching your exhaust manifold after a run i guarantee it will be hotter! and thats made of steel

The worst thing about it is it's that kind of numb feeling when you just catch it then it's just waiting for the burn
