Capri 2.0 Legs - Will they fit onto a MK1 Escort?

As above guys can this be done and are they any better than standard mk1 escort 1300 estate legs (mainly will the brakes be better)?

They can and they will be better in handling/braking.

You may have to dismantle the struts to change the top mounts.

Be VERY carefull and use spring clamps.

Also the brake pipe on the Capri may be Metric and on the MK1 its probably Imperial so you need to get new ones in this case.

i got 2.0S Capri legs on my Wagon . The only thing i had to change was the track rod ends to RS....
