atomic-cortina Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Right, My dad has recently moved to a place with quite a decent sized garage. This means the most important time in my life has begun! Right. Here are my ideas. Car Ford Anglia 105e, Find one in a reasonable condition but needing a re-build and minor repair work. Technical Standard 997cc or 1200 running well and up rated alternator for reliability. Disk brakes all round and Halogen headlights. Race harnesses on standard seats (not buckets but maybe MK1/MK2 Cortina seat conversion if they will fit), Roll cage without diagonal so back seats can still be used, Interier CD player hidden in glove box with hidden 6 by 9s hidden in the rear interior panels. My plans for those is to re-build that section with thin MDF to support the speakers better than hardboard and re cover in the acoustic material. Standard black vynal interior, Black leather steering wheel, checkered front parcel shelf, satin black roll cage, black fitted carpets, lotus style gear stick set up to bring the gear stick closer rather than have the long and bendy original. Exterier Emin White body colour with checkered roof with large squares (Mini Cooper style) As low as I can get it without it being un-practical, 7X13 4 spoke Revos with black centers and polished rim. Standard bumpers and checkered vynal on the metal behind the grill so checkers show up through the grill, apart from that, pretty clean and simple. I want the car to have a very black and white appearance but mainly white as the car is small so IMO lighter colours work best. What do you guys reckon? If anyone fancies photoshopping an Anglia for me it would be much appreciated. Any suggestions/advice welcome. Ray.

It shouldn't be too much to insure a one litre car though should it? Yes, I see what you mean. I didn't mean the whole way accoss, just on the metal pillars either side.

The most unexpected cars can look so good given the right modifications! I love the fact that its almost standard (looks wise) apart from the slammage and the deep wheels. Really makes a dfference Don't go putting me off of Anglias now!! I've changed my mind too much about cars as it is
5hane Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 hes spent proper money on that too, but then again hes loaded !! http://www.youtube.com/user/Dannyvcs
