mk2 escort engine needed??? any ideas or tips???

hi i'm lookin 4 a 1100 engine for my mk2 escort, not the valencia engine from a fiesta,trying to see if i can fit a 1.3/1.6 head on one and put a kent cam kit on??? maybe

a 1300 looks exactly the same as a 1100 so might as well put one of them in, put some 1.1 pistons in to raise compression too

you can but for any benefit you need a 1600GT head

1600gt, probably get a ported and polished big valve when i have the money, then i can put that on the 1600 engine when she goes in.
