over_head_cam Posted August 24, 2008 Report Posted August 24, 2008 Tell us what you did and how you did it
V6MAT Posted August 24, 2008 Report Posted August 24, 2008 most of mine was done by using the smudge tool i love it!
over_head_cam Posted August 25, 2008 Author Report Posted August 25, 2008 What i meant was what bits you changed (apart from the obvious, like wheels etc ) Little details that made the whole thing look better in your eyes? I'll give a couple of examples. The number plate is obvious in my pic and probably not really needed, but it was a detail I wanted to include. Like straightening up the door trim and the bonnet trim over the headlight. Also the trim on the top of the door was bugging me so I moved that too. Taking the grill badge out made me feel better, and I couldn't live with the screws holding the indicator trim on
surfingturnip Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 erm, well, I thought the b pillar kinda sucked so I got rid of that ( quite an obvious one I suppose) and removed teh badge from the c pillar. The rest of its kinda obvious and looking at the pic now I wish I'd spent even more time on it
Airbag Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 I got rid of all the trim, including the badge on the c pillar. I made the front grill shiney, rear door handle taken off, slammed, wheel archs, wide rims, side boy kit, tinted windows, black seats, painted gunmetel grey, removed filler cap and added a more modern mirror!
V6MAT Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 cowl scoop as im kinda putting this in all my pics now and added a vent at the rear kinda like a mk3 coritna savage, debumpered but kept the fogs, made it into the two door as i reckon it would be better for a pickup. wheels and arches of course, removed the trim and change front trim to a black strip as it goes well with yellow, kept the vinyl roof but changed to blue to suit blue wheel inserts (scooby blue and yellow scheme changed to yellow and blue), 3 bar grille made by me!
