Durham Fiesta Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 i know a lot of people take it for granted , but got a new set of contact lenses today and its great , the world it so colourful and un blurred, and i'm getting some more lenses in a few days that'll be more suited to me, so might even get x ray vision with those gonna see if can make it go blurry again with a few nelsons tonight
stevepeanut Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 I just spent over £200 at asda opticians, new contacts, new glasses and prescription sunglasses. Had a few pints of the home brew and a couple of rums and my vision is going already. And the X factor hasnt even started yet

leanne.mk1.xr2 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 i tried to wear contacts a few years ago and getting them in was a struggle, getting them back out was harder so i think i will stick to my glasses for now i was the same i wore glasses for 22 years and in may past i went and got the lazer eye surgery done i was always happy enough to wear glasses they never bothered me until i was going swimming because i couldn't see anything and it wasn't fair on the wee ones plus when i was going on rollercoasters it cost me £3500 because of how bad my sight was. we are paying it off but by god it is worth it. i would feckin hate to go back to wearing glasses i can see my alarm clock in the morning and see the shampoo in the shower

Stu_B Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 I wear contacts. I love 'em I've worn glasses since I was 4 & I really hate wearing them now. I have contacts that I can sleep in and only have to change once a month, I love waking up in the morning & being able to see

I have contacts that I can sleep in and only have to change once a month, I love waking up in the morning & being able to see i tried them ones but after 2 weeks they started to really irritate my eyes
