I took the victor for a run down to brighton was a hot rod meet down there and have killed her

 

she got there and had to come home on the back of a rac truck :sad:

have smoked half the people out on the way down and got very hot got to get a new engine for her now :sad:

 

so think it time for a bigger engine :lol:

 

has i have killed 2 this year :twisted:

cheap on parts and tuning, and doesnt matter if you get a 'pourous' or cozzy' one :thumbsup:

 

thats my opinion as i know from my dads mate, he has a viva hb and spares are awfully hard to get :sad:

 

hope you ewither fix it or make it better :mrgreen::lol:

Poor old Victor he has been going through it a bit of later :sad: I'd keep him original Pauline as he's very rare now 8) By the way I ask my Dad about his Victor FB estate. We can't find the picture of it at the moment but he found the receipt for it. He bought it on the 14th February 1968 for £395. He p/x'd his 1956 Hillman Minx for £45.00.

 

The minx reg No was VVO 514 and the Victor was 53 HYT, sadly there are no records of them on the DVLA website so they have long gone :sad:

 

If you do get fed up with your Victor I would buy it off you :wink: but only if it was standard and original as poss. But what ever you do good luck with him :)

looking for a new engine for her need her back on the road asap not having much joy i know were there is one my dad has a engine trying to work on him to let me have it.

 

she is all original at the mo there is part of me that wants to keep her that way but not sure if am going to be able to.
