Slammed Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 well i would xe it if i were you cheap on parts and tuning, and doesnt matter if you get a 'pourous' or cozzy' one thats my opinion as i know from my dads mate, he has a viva hb and spares are awfully hard to get hope you ewither fix it or make it better
asj Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Poor old Victor he has been going through it a bit of later I'd keep him original Pauline as he's very rare now By the way I ask my Dad about his Victor FB estate. We can't find the picture of it at the moment but he found the receipt for it. He bought it on the 14th February 1968 for £395. He p/x'd his 1956 Hillman Minx for £45.00. The minx reg No was VVO 514 and the Victor was 53 HYT, sadly there are no records of them on the DVLA website so they have long gone If you do get fed up with your Victor I would buy it off you but only if it was standard and original as poss. But what ever you do good luck with him
