hi peeps just a quikky, is hard to get hold of or dose any 1 out have a good working gear box for mk1 escort mexico xflow 1973

It's a 2000E box with hydraulic clutch on them similar to 1600E Cortina's and Corsairs might be slightly more difficult then a standard Escort box.

A mate of mine as a 4speed box for a x flow, he's asking £75 for. is this a fair price? as i know bugger all about this lol still learning

You need to know if you have a cable clutch or not.

 

The original box for a Mexico doesn't and the bell housing on a standard Escort box cannot be replaced.

found a box hydrolic good workin order not to far my my house as it happens, everyones a winner, on to diff now dose the spending ever stop lol joys of old skool ford LOVE IT
