stupot_501 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 hi ive got a ford capri mk3 2.0l laser but i got it as a project for me to rebuild and unfortunalty i havent got round to connecting the bonnet catch back up, therefore i have just been closing it enough so i can flip the catch and lift it up. unfortunbatly yesterday i dropped the bonnet and not it is permanently shut and i have no way of opening it as the catch is not set up, is there another way i can lift the bonnet up. PLEASE HELP!!
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 you should be able to reach up from behind jack the car up and reach up and pull the lever which the bonnet cable would attatch to
stupot_501 Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Posted May 19, 2009 my capri doesnt have a latch its only got the spring a cable which isnt attached and the catch to acctualy lift it up.
