william_akker Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Hello everybody I'm William from holland. I was with my friend JP to the classic ford show on santapod. He's already some time on this forum bud i didn't know this. Then we got tickets for the oldskoolford stand for our cars. Very nice! Yesterday we came back in Holland and the first thing was to check out the website of oldskoolford. About me: I'm William. I drive a mk1 granada 2 door saloon and a mk2 escort. I've also got 2 newer (25 and 26 years old) fords but those are "not done" on this forum. The escort is very slowly converted to group 4 spec rally car. The granny is my tryout for electrics and stuff. I now got a clone of the megasquirt on it(K-data). I'm rebuilding it for LPG injection and normal fuel. Last weeks i rebuild the suspension and subframe with new shocks bushes and a lsd. The gearbox is changed for the type 9 with the big front bearing in it. There's still a lot of work on it but the shell is very hard. Almost no rust at all! It´s a very nice website and i hope that i can find and give much tips- information. best regards, william
