rscapriman Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Here are a couple of pics from last weekend at Castle Combe Racing Circuit, Vince Woodmans Broadspeed has suffered engine problems so he was loaned a genuine works car to use on the parade lap!!!! 119 Capri's on the track at one time!!!. jimbo Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Nice Would have been 120 on the track if mine had passed it's MOT...... Guess it would have been good to have the oldest surviving Capri there. Even if it's not quite as pretty as most others...... Here it is today. All fixed and ready for its re-test

jimbo Posted June 10, 2009 Report Posted June 10, 2009 I swear that car had a major rear ender some time ago Yep. Last year on the way home from L2B. Expensive repair bill (courtesy of the culprit's insurance ) but a bloody good job done (including the stitching on of a Mk3 rear valence ) It's probably just as well it had strengtheners for a tow bar fitted otherwise it might have been lost for good

Not 100% sure but I believe it stands the owner at about £200,000 at the mo, and I doubt he would ever sell it. RScapriman.
