This was a mk2 i had years ago, had a rear end bump in it, lost the door gaps, so i reshelled it, cant belive i scrapped the shell as it was, have a good look at the front wings! RS tab wings, as id just fitted an RS2000 nose to it, when i shelled it i got two brand new wings from the dealer i was working for, that shell would have been worth a few quid now im guessing !!!

And after the reshell, did it in a week and two days, including spraying it as a shell

Also found a few pics of my first escort estate, started as a 1300 base, one owner, i fitted a megga quick X flow on 45s, then it all went wrong two years after i finished it,

 

Hit a datsun cherry on the M6

 

 

Broke its back and snapped the tail shaft housing off the gearbox, thank god i caged it, coppers said i was very lucky

 

 

Oh my poor brand new quater bumpers and cibes,

 

 

The engine came out and went in to the red RS replica above,

Well the datsun was a bit bent , it was that or hit the armco, and i guessed the datsun was softer !!!!
