caprinerd Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 mate i worked as a valeter for years at a merc dealership in bedford and this was a common thing one that i can remember was an e220 full valet job was done customer pick it up 5 miles away it broke down and we got the blame by the customer, work that one out

zetecmk2 Posted September 18, 2009 Author Report Posted September 18, 2009 cheers for the pm's and txts wishing me well you truly are a great bunch anyway, after 1 1/2 hrs of talking, they decided i did everything by the book and no action taken the fitter who left the bolt out handed his notice in before they sacked him. but it could all happen again if someone forgets something!!!! the only way for me to be sure everything is done correctly, is to totally strip each job! quite impossible!! still, at least i get to build the gt
