Engine mounts

Hi all , a quick question as i am changing my crossmember tommorow back to a standard Mex one, i have the correct "round mounts" and the mount brackets but one bracket is shorter than the other?? which side does the shorter one go to?

 

ie if i was looking into the engine bay from the front of the car
