Mixture screw stuck.. help please!

Hi, I've recently attempted to get the mixture adjusted to even out the carbs but the front mixture screw is jammed almost on full.

 

The screw head is also in a bad way. Looks like 2 trangles instead of a slot. ( >< instead of - )

 

Any Idea on how to remove it? I have a new one on its way so it can be destroyed if needs be.

drill small hole in it and use an easy out

I ended up drilling holes to make a deep slot. Heated the all up and lots of penetrative oil later and It came off.

 

Looks like it was cross threaded at some point put all ok now.
