My old Escort RS2000 - where are you?

hi everyone.... I owned a 1978 RS2000 about 11 years ago. She was black and her registration number was BGJ 906 S. I only owned her for 6 months before running out of money, and literally gave her away.... hindsight eh?

 

According to the DVLA, she was last taxed in Sept' 2005. I know its a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone on here knows what happened to her, or has owned her?

 

Sadly I have no photos. She was tidy and solid enough, so I'm hoping someone is in the process of restoring her to her former glory. I would dearly love another RS2000, but fear I've been priced out of the market.

Paul Ruddy's replied saying it lived in Whitehaven for a long time, was sold to Steve Ogle's mates ( Terry, not sure if that is you)

 

Steve is the Mexico registrar for the RS Owners club and organiser of the Lakes Tour.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.... I bought the car off a guy in Frizington but sold it to a trader in Seascale 6 months later. I know that a mechanic from Workington bought it after that. But he didn't have it long either. The trail goes cold after that.
