lynx manifold for a weber 45 carb (pinto) value?

Just bought a mk2 escort and the owner stressed to me how rare the manifold was. it has a single weber 45 attached via a lynx inlet manifold...is this a rare/ desirable item in anyway? if so what should i value it at when/if i sell it?

what is the advantage of having a suingle carb rather than a double? (if any) it is an ex rally car so i dont know the reason for having this setup...

i think some where in the past it was maybe in the rules that they could only use a single carb

 

people do use those manifolds its a good set up a nice 40 on it

 

obviously twin 40s are better but use more fuel
