my cortina fired tonight, got the engine timed too, so fingers crossed it should start and work all the time now. Just need to wire in my new electric fan and all being well I will make it on sunday

sunny here in Leeds, but very windy, been wiring in my new fan this morning, wind is causing me probs trying to solder. Out with the 120 watt huge iron, did the job a treat. Breakfast in a min, then double checking my timing and ready to roll. Can't wait, first run out with the engine done.

we aint got no luck have we, I got home, and opened my bonnet, my engine breather had popped out and theres oil everywhere

just had a look and my one of my heater pipes had burst . hopefully i stopped before i caused too much damage. will have a look next week some time, all i wanna do is cry and start smoking again at the moment
