Rewiring MK1 Escort

Hi, has anyone ever rewired a MK1, I've got mine stripped back to bare shell, gonna be blasted & primed in next couple of weeks & then going V6 Essex route!! I would appreciate any advice about rewiring. Battery & fuse box going in the boot.

Yes done a few, i find it easy.............. but i'm an Auto sparks

 

It's not that hard on these though, if you know what bit is what lay it out on the floor 1st, fit the switches so you know which is which.

 

 

On Early cars you have more pieces then the later ones.

 

Engine bay + 2 on early

Interior from fuse box along dash to ignition, indicators, them a join to go upto interior light, and a join to head towards the back for lights etc. all on passenger side.

 

Up to you where you route the battery cables normally opposite side of exhaust, perhaps in you case through the bulkhead inside and through ?
