steve mk2 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Bought a new steering wheel from PLR £90 also bought a sparco quick release off eBay £60 then I bought a old knakered boomerang GL mk2 steering wheel and cut it off it's boss, I then measured the height of my release boss and shortened the boss 85mm then I faced it flat and took it to brooklands welding services where they turned out a big washer on a lathe to weld to the boss so the release can bolt to it. Then I took it to work and had it sprayed Mazda crystal White Realy happy with how it come out also bought and fitted a brand new in box sparco seat from eBay £150 was a unwanted Christmas present I think it rrp at about £250. Fitted a treat and went on escort runners! I actually stay in the seat when I go round corners now lol what you all think ? Thanks steve
