Cossy turbo problem t3 on 4wd mani? Pleasee help if ya can

Hi everyone i bought a nother turbo for my engine im building for the mk1 me being stupid i bought a turbo with out looking at it propley but on the flange it has studs to bolt to a manifold? but my manifold already has studs to bolt the turbo on? i have removed one of the studs of the turbo flange to see but the stud on the manifold wont go frew as it has a fred in it on the turbo?

drill the threads out the turbo housing keep the studs on the manifold

i was thinking that thanks for the advice mate the turbos gonna be qwite close to the manifold would that effect power wise or anything?
