Gear box?

Hi, I got a 1.6 pinto capri. thinking of ugrading the engine to a 2.1 pinto and maybe turboing it. but i need to know what gearbox i got so i can find out how much power i can give it without blasting it to peices! its a 5 speed manual any ideas what box its got if not how do i find out?!

sounds like you got a type 9 if its 5 speed
