i have a mk1 mex and ive put the wheels on in form of 7x13 superlites (the usual midland wheel ones)

im using 185/60's and a standard english axle with panhard and tramp bars.

How do you get the rears to fit without ditching all the interior and cutting the arches back??

there seems to be so many people using 7x13's all round on a mk1, its just interesting to see how they do it without cutting their arches to bits.

To be honest, i sent the car away to be painted, expecting the wheels to fit, and now they don't. Ive swapped my axle for an anglia axle which is shorter and fitted a panhard rod and tramp bars to that. But now the wheels sit too far in the arch for my liking to have had to go out and buy semi floating hubs which bring them near enough spot on.

yeah, i had an anglia van axle although i intended to get the semi floating hubs anyway as i can use much stronger two piece shafts so would give me a nice clearance.

was just wondering what trouble people went thru to fit the 7's on the rear as i thought they went str8 on the way people are using them lol

that yellow mex is gorge!!!
