looks like a jag axle to me and it also looks like a cracking set up good work fella!!

It is off a 1974 XJ6 4.2, narrowed 6.5" at each end and has 8 x 15 alloys under stock arches.

there was a mk2 escort fitted with a bmw semi trailing arm axle a few years ago in retro ford

mazda mx 5 rear is all self contained, and bolts up to 2 straight horizontal chassis rails, weld and machine the drive flanges to accept 4x108 studs, not sure of width atm, but i've been offered a mx 5 for scrap......and it looks promising!!
