Dazzler 666 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Hello .. Whilst removing teh dash, clocks, etc on the Capri all was going well till I put dials back in realise the temp gauge needle had became detached !!! Now I have looked at it and placed it back on the copper strip, etc however it's not sitting right, as the needle is not sitting at the lowest point on the dial although the needle is moving when I put a battery on it and then re-settles back to just above the blue block instead of below the blue block on the dial! Aarrghh. So ive either not got it on right (damned if I know how it goes then!!) or any suggestions where I could get a new gauge, though I appreciate may be difficult to find someone or a breaker who wil break the clocks up. Any suggestions (Except live with it!) appreciated. Cheers all.
