Would prefer some old skool motor, but will consider newer stuff. Just wondering if anyone has been to one and could recommend anywhere ? Dont mind paying the money, but would like a good experience ! Thanks Rich

Guest tequilagrae Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 went to silverstone rally school for my 18th birthday (few years back now) can post the link as im too new here but its the one with the green, red and white escorts. started with theory, and a bit on pace notes, skid area donuts, then 8's, then handbrake, lunch, then a few runs round a gravel stage with pace notes. all in a mk2 escort it was brilliant. probably only worth it for the full day though, some people in the group did 1/2 day and they mussed the best bit in the afternoon

442 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Did the full day at Silverstone a few years ago for a mates stag do, worth the full day as you get taken round like a loon in the afternoon . I had a wicked day and it taught me a thing or two!! Mk 2 escorts running about 130 bhp on a slidy circuit is more than enough power . Hats off to the pro's!!!
