how's this for a monday?

i got up 3 hrs early to give someone a lift, that was cancelled at the last minute, went up the unit and the compressor wouldn't play...so no air tools and 2 cars in that need work..so i cut sheet metal with a hacksaw, then go and get the welder that my mate borrowed.....only to get it back and find no gas!!

go to boc to start an account, but need a utility bill, back home to get the bill and the head gasket goes on the p100...limp home,and get the disco keys.

in the disco (that i moved saturday) and nothing!!! starter decided today was a good day to retire

so, my last resort is the mk2 escort on the front garden....although i can't bring gas bottles back in this, i can at least sort the account.

well, it rained last night and my mk2 is light with wide tyres....yes, it span and span...made it as far as my next door neighbour's and stopped...just as the throttle stuck open!!! it dug itself into her garden, slinging mud everywhere...just as she pulled up home from work!!

i got trace to push the escort as i splattered her in mud....got it on the road and it pulled to the right.....flat tyre!!!

my pump is up the unit!!!

borrow trace's rangerover and go up and get my electric pump and as an afterthought...my pushbike track pump. good job i did as the electric pump just died!!!! i'm now on the pc with a hand pump attatched to the escort!!!

tomorrow won't start as any other tuesday.......

it'll start as the tuesday following this monday....still with all the shit to sort out

 

 

but then it will be all forgotten
