442 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Dont know if this been done before but i guess we all favour the sweeny or the professionals but other than that whats your favourite car films? I like all the new stuff thats out but i enjoy a film more when a stuntman does the driving , me n my brother went round Milton Keynes bowl about 12 years ago with the bloke who did the driving in loads of cool 80's films and he also taught in the fast and furious films. So in no order my favourites are American Graffitti Bullitt Gone in Sixty Seconds (original and the new one!) Smokey And The Bandit 1 & 2 Cannonball Run 1 & 2 Convoy The Dukes Of Hazzard Original Italian Job Gumball Rally (70's) Days Of Thunder Driver Any that peeps can recommend? list your faves
SebringRS Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Hot Rod, not the new one with the stunt bikes, but the one with the Willy's coupe gasser if you haven't seen it already, is a Pretty good film. If your into old American cars and drag racing Two lane blacktop, a film with lack of voices and lots of racing and v8 noise, gets boring but is worth a watch And Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, good mix of cars in that, although the car crash at the end is cringe worthy Vanishing Point also..... the original, maybe not the re-make I wish I was born when these were released
gjh Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Gone in 60 seconds is pretty good, the new one as I'm affraid I haven't seen the original, I also like the original Italian job, and Bullit.
442 Posted May 7, 2011 Author Report Posted May 7, 2011 All they talked about in two lane blacktop was changing the jets in the carb every 5 minutes!! SebringRS - Vanishing Point remake where have i been? Trevmk3 - cool film but if he had a muscle car instaed of that lame pylmouth with a six in it he would of got away!
Trevmk3 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 very true, but never have i wanted a lorry more, than when i watch that film
442 Posted May 7, 2011 Author Report Posted May 7, 2011 The 1997 version Hmmmmm...... Forgot Used Cars fun to watch, cringe worthy again if see what happens to the 57 bel air!!
Slammed Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 probably fast and furious 2 and 5.. both got one thing in common.. Eva Mendes sure you'll agree

Pipster007 Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 The Wraith. A bit of a pants film, but the Dodge M4S looked like a concept for the Jag XJ220, which is cool
