Dadsvitesse Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 Ok hi all. I'm new and I have a question so please help. I have a 1978 Granada 2.8 GL injection manual. It has a facelift front but pre facelift rear, facelift bumpers front and back. So I'm confused, so many people have told me the pre facelift didn't come with FI but mine has it but it looks like a facelift but can't be as they came in in 1983??? I have a log book from 1985 which lists it as a Granada GL FI. Vin starts GAGFUS Engine number US088## the car underwent a massive rebuild in 1997, I wonder if the facelift bits were added then.? Any ideas??? Many thanks
grifterkid Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 The fuel injection engine was available on the Mk2 Granada from its introduction in 1978... It was only available on the Ghia ans the S but then the S model was dropped and you could order an S pack to add to the GL model (so this is what your car may be?!)... It would be good if we could see some pictures of your car, we don't see enough Granada's on here...
