Car battery

Hi,

 

My dad has a mk3 ford zodiac, it has a knackered battery and i want to get him a new one but not sure what to get. There isn't any useful information on the old battery. The car also has an alternator fitted if that makes a difference. Can someone please advise me to which one i should get. Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.

I would have thought if you buy one for say a late modern v6 that should be ok, but you will need to measure your battery tray to check your size range + you may have to renew your battery post terminals to the round one's if yours are square. go to your nearest friendly motor factors + have a look at the sizes + go from there.
