scoooby slayer Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 i have just read this article. i am in the process of building a v8 powered rwd on leaf springs. the engine has about 360 lbft of torque so i was gonna try what this article suggests of 3d down angle on both the gearbox and diff so it allows for axle wrap on launch. http://www.fordification.com/bumpwiki/i ... ion_Angles does that seem about right for a big torque leaf sprung solid rear axle ?
turnover Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 normally go for between 1 an 2 degrees down which should work fine
