Mad Mex Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 Popeye... the old mad has a small dedicated compressor for smaller items, think its 25 lite ultra silent jobbie. he uses devilbliss and iwata airbrushes, some are fine some are for broader coverage (as u can probably tell im not upto date with it i just ask for stuff to be painted lol ) as for paints he has hundreds, mostly autoair paints, but quite a collection of house of kolor paints too... go on you tube, look for edd hubbs, richard markarm, mike leveli (sp) chuck bauer....they all have basic tutorials etc. be warned tho its not a cheap hobby, you really have to get a decent airbrush to get a good result. devilbliss, iwata, paache etc. the cheap chinese shite on the bay your better off throwing the paint on also paints can be expensive for the candys, pearls metal flake etc... auto air paints he tells me are much more forgivable then the celly HOK stuff as there water based. if you got any toher questions let me kno n ill ask him
