Escort Rs Mad Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 I have been into Old Skool Ford's for about 4 years, started collecting/modifying 1/18 scale models & then the bug for a real one bit hard.As much as i would of liked a Escort i couldn't afford one so i decided to look at the Mk1 Fiesta.I looked at one in March 2011 & was blown away how good & original it was.The chap i got it from was the third owner, had it 7 years covering just 1,300 miles It's a 1982 1.3 GL in Terracotta, all original paint/panels. Enjoy the pics. This was at the Ford Dunton plant Sep 2011 Sep 2011 in the 100 Years of Ford parade at Dunton. Then in Nov 2011 it came off the road to have underseal done & some minor paintwork/detailing of the underneath. First show i did this year Kent all Ford show. Santa Pod Classic Ford show 2012 And a mock up on the front cover of ClassicFord
lotusless Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 Lovely its really good to see people still keeping some of the cars standard, they will be the one's worth big bucks in years to come.
Escort Rs Mad Posted June 3, 2012 Author Report Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks for the comments lads, the fact it's so standard/original is my fave part of the car, like the dealer plates, tax disc holder, window sticker, even has both sets of original keys.As much as like a modified Fiesta i couldn't bring myself to mod it.
