HELP IF YOU CAN IVE GOT A 1970 MK1 ESCORT FITTED WITH A SERVO BUT THE BRAKE AND CLUTCH PEDAL SEEM TO HAVE APPROX 1" OF MOVEMENT FROM SIDE TO SIDE .

IS THIS JUST BUSHES KNACKERED OR IS IT SOMETHING MORE SINISTER? WHERE CAN YOU GET BUSHES FROM AND DOES THE PEDAL BOX HAVE TO BE REMOVED LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR HELP

Hi mate,

 

Yes it is just the pedal pivot bushes at the top of the pedal box and you can do them with it in the car but you need to lay in the footwell and its not a very nice job I probably would just remove the pedal box if i done mine again as I reckon it would be much easier

 

The bushes are easy to get hold of, I brought poly bush ones for under a tenner posted,
