Justmark Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 1979 4 door 1.6l. needs restoring plenty of welding but in all the easy places ie sills , boot floor near fuel filler neck. flat part under neath 3 doors, possible 1 front floor,, good points all arches good ,all pillars good, both valences good,both hinge mounts good,sweat engine with 2 ltr carb.will need new clutch. paint work purple / green (changes colour) would get you bye for now.inside still beige but interior good just needs clean no rips, too much to explain so if your after a project thats getting rare (contact owners club for how many left ) this would make a good project but still requires welding as is the norm for cortinas, if interested contact mark 075730275765 £995 west midlands,no tax or mot but will drive away , there are photos on gume tree if you want to see but if your serious then you can come and look. be quick as if it dont sell i will strip it the weekend and race it. i wont be making a lot of money on it if it sells but there past the sell buy date for bangers now and i have offered a couple of cars on here, the people moaning about saving the old skool fords want to see pictures but dont actually want to save them .perhaps a cortina enthusiast may be looking for one if so its your lucky day.
