advice on ford consul mk1 1953

iv just bought myself a mk1 ford consul, im just wondering if anyone has any advice on changing the engine, I have a 3 ltr engine out of a capri with an auto box that I would like to put in it but don't know how to go about it. has anyone got any advice they could share with me thanks Syd also any idea where I could get new door sills from thanks

I'm sure the sill on mine are of a jag,

mine is also running a 2.9i V6 + auto box so 3.0 will fit ok
