Value retro race ready mk1 cortina

My old foreman has recently decided to sell his collection of cars, his Audi Quattro is going for auction, he has other cars but more inportantly this mk1 cortina.

 

Now I haven't even seen this but heard he used to race it with his dad, its all race ready from the old days, think it has a lotus engine fitted. Not road legal I don't think due to the changes made (he said this when I enquired about buying years ago but that may have been to put me off).

 

Basically I need a rough guess of value until I get hold of some pictures.i know this isn't much to go by sorry

Lotus = £20k plus for a resto job

Standard 2 door £2-5k minus twink needing minor resto

Standard prepped With lotus engine £10k plus

Sorry for the delay in replying . I saw on eBay , need complete renovation , went for £5250 !!! Mine has no carpets, seats, headlining or heater. (Stripped for racing). The block has a hole where a con rod came though it. It has big valve head (rare), and special 2" four into one exhaust . It has Adjustable Leda shockers and Lotus springs, and a thick anti roll bar and all suspension and springs pollybushed. It a roll cage and competion fuel tank. And in need of major renovation . You tell me what worth ?
