whooligan Posted December 27, 2013 Report Posted December 27, 2013 I chasing a few bits for my RS2000 (Mk 2) that I've just bought back off a friend. It's missing a few bits like the seats and the small dash pod (passenger side) that houses a clock. Since I'm in Australia, I think the seats might be a struggle to stick in the post, but if there is anyone out there with a spare dash pod they want to part with, please let me know. You can post it to my cousin in Nottingham if you don't fancy sending to Australia and I'll sort it from there. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Glenn
DT36 Posted December 28, 2013 Report Posted December 28, 2013 I have 1 x genuine Fishnet Recaro in brown for the passenger side that's in reasonable condition. However, I have no idea what it's worth. Been trying to get another to match it without any luck, but have ended up buying a pair of Capri seats instead.
whooligan Posted December 28, 2013 Author Report Posted December 28, 2013 Thanks for the offer but we had roll top (scheel) seats in Aussie RS2000s. They are getting really difficult to source here. Seats needing re-trim sell for close to $1000 (450 quid) if you can find a pair.

Yes, got to admit that the price on seats and genuine cloth is just daft money and even though I have one seat already, the cost of another, plus recovering them is going to push it over the £1000 mark. I have had a quote from one popular company to recover a set of Capri seats that are fairly close to the original Escort Fishnets in Beta Cloth that hit the £800 mark once you add VAT and delivery charges etc. Phoned a local guy my Mate recently used for custom work on a VW van and he weighed in at £600 in a standard black cloth, stating that he would match the back seats in on this too if I would put some pics of my car on his website when finished.
whooligan Posted January 3, 2014 Author Report Posted January 3, 2014 Cool. How much do you want for it? Would you accept payment via Palpay?
