I was going to use it as a run-around this summer but I’d really prefer to put the money into an escort (hopefully!) So, it’s an H-reg. 1990 1.8CVH GLX. MOT till April 2016 and 40,000 miles on the clock (probably gone round as they only go to 100,000). Just been serviced, new oil, filter and coolant and starts up and runs well. It polished up nicely the other day and front electric windows, electric mirrors, locking fuel cap etc. all work well. Radio is missing but there is the loom there. Body work is remarkably rust free and looks very good underneath. However, it does have a dent on the near side rear door about the size of your palm. The paint or lacquer hasn’t peeled but it is noticeable. Bit of a shame really but there we go! Also there is a scratch on the bonnet – hopefully this should touch up fine but I haven’t tried yet – it wouldn’t bother me if I kept it. Tyres have a lot of life and battery is fairly new. Also has a tow bar with twin electrics. All in all it looks very tidy apart from the dent and scratch and is good to go. Good for towing the kit car! Looking for £1,200 for it.
