Escort Mk1 Door Drop Glass Bracket

I need to replace the rusty door drop glass support on the drivers side and where the slider mechanism wheel fits into but don't want to shatter the glass when removing and replacing.

 

Any tips? Should the braket just pull off with persuasion (seems to be pretty much stuck fast to the window right now)?

There bonded. On and stuck for good, if you do get one off like I did you have to bond the new one in exactly the same place otherwise the window roller don't travel properly, the easy option is to just get another window with a good support.
