escortmad79 Posted November 11, 2015 Report Posted November 11, 2015 Blue mk1 Escort 1300XL CTT894L stolen Monkokehampton, Devon 11/11/15 Blue mk1 Escort 1300XL registration number CTT894L was stolen between midnight & 06:30am on Wednesday 11th November 2015. The car was stolen from outside the owners property whilst the owners & their two small children slept. The car would have been trailered, towed or HIABed away as it wasn’t roadworthy having been off the road awaiting restoration. The car, being a 1300XL is fitted with rectangular headlights, chrome trim around the windows & rear panel & comes with 6 dial dash as standard. The car is standard aside from a set of Rostyle wheels & a set of aftermarket red & black front seats which have faded in the sun & have the word turbo on them. The car is fitted with chrome mk2 Escort door mirrors & an aerial at the front of the roof. The owner has had the car since 1994 & has great sentimental value to him as the car was bought to work on with his Dad who passed away 5 years ago. The owner was shortly to commence restoration on the car. Anyone with any information can contact the police on 101 quoting crime reference number CR078045/15
escortmad79 Posted November 11, 2015 Author Report Posted November 11, 2015 The seats are Mitsubishi Colt Turbo front seats with the genuine escort rear seat. The car has a 3 spoke Mountney steering wheel, a wooden gearstick with ford logo on top & a small clock put in between the two fan vents on the dash. Externally the car is now missing the passenger door mirror. The front drivers wing has a slight rust hole. It has a Classic ford sticker in the rear window. The car has a two inch stainless tailpipe attached to ashley exhaust system. Under the wheel arches & underside of car is painted red oxide colour.
