Arfur Posted April 19, 2022 Report Posted April 19, 2022 (edited) In the Classic Ford May 2022 issue, out now, we reveal five 1950s to 1990s classic Fords you can buy and improve for £3000 or under! One of the criticisms often levelled at the classic Ford scene is that the cars have become too damned expensive to buy. There is a lot of truth in this, but only if you’re chasing some of the more popular models — and this is something that affects the entire classic car world. As soon as demand outstrips supply, up go the prices. If you’re prepared to remove the blinkers, however, there are some bargains to be had, and we’ve chosen five for our £3K Heroes cover feature. We reckon at least one of those cars will appeal to you in some way, and even better, provide a solid base for a classic Ford that you can use every day and slowly improve. Snapper Posted July 5, 2022 Report Posted July 5, 2022 Second article with my home built 2.1 where Graham Bahr and I really struggled with the bike carbs, Graham had run the engine up on Weber 45’s and a modified distributor but I was going to run bike carbs and Megajolt.
