Cheers lads , well it's def a 5 speeder , i know what you mean ref the RS box mine is such a nice crisp change prob the best of any ford I have owned

Cheers for the replys , is it a matter of preference or are most cars running the 5 speed versions

I'm seriously considering changing my original 4 speed box to the type 9 , she pulls like a train through the gears but revs high when cruising and want a bit of middle ground really , are my quick shift and clutch compatible as both done less than 1k , if anyone has a good type 9 please let me know

I'm running fresh built Vulcan 2.1 pinto with stage 2 head , bogg bros supplied the manifold for the carbs , they said there was mixed results with the push dial type regulators how's your been any leaks ?

Looking for some advice ,I have the R1's on and running quiet well apart from the obvious over fueling creating a bit of popping and farting but need to instal a fuel reg to limit the flow to 3PSi from my Facit fuel pump , anyone bought / installed and have any do's donts , cheers Russ mc RS2K

Hi all I'm brand new to the site and want to say hello to everyone , I run a RS2000 mk2 with 2.1 Vulcan pinto stage 2 head R1 bike carbs , she's had a full brake upgrade and rear disc conversion , -2 inch all round and sitting on new 7j 's , stripped out and fully caged ,looking forward to meeting up with a few other old ford lovers Cheers Russ
