Thanks for that mate i really appreciate it It was origanally white from what i can remember my dad telling me he rallied it with a 1760 blue printed lump but it kept cracking Marcedes liners (Which they said could not crack)Rallying was becoming very expensive to be competetive and running his Haulage buisness took up most of his time It had a 1600 crossflow put it and he sold it to raise funds for there wedding ..Oh it had a towbar on aswell as was it there *Everyday* car not just a toy I was born in 78' so it was sold well before then ,My dad bought it from Mansfield (Nottinghamshire) And rallied it with the Vagabond*spelling* motor club

Been advised my dads old mk1 escort might be knocking about on here?
