  2. just wondered if anyone could help me, ive got a mk1 escort in the shed with the standard vin plate on the drivers strut top, but there is also another one on the front panel where the avo ones have them. On it, it has the correct serial number, with a few trim specs on it and also the colour written out. its underneath the original paint and primer so i beleive it to be genuine, just wondered if anyone knew wheather it should be there as ive never seen another one like it???
  3. Ok thanks all, will have to get onto the manufacturer. So far its never been down the strip, Yeh that is my car, from the weekend, should hopefully be at the retro show in a couple of weeks.
  4. ok thanks, will give them a try. also found out this after that ive smashed the LSD in it aswell anyone use a bullerproof one of them?? i would think pound shop ones would have lasted longer although probly shouldnt have gone through first and second in the burnout for them to snap on the line, so its me own fault really.

Hi all, Managed to snap both drive shafts yesterday morning at SCR, and was just wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get them from. they were stronger uprated ones with an lsd but they both snapped like twigs. and also if anyone has any top tips of getting the remaining shafts out they would be greatly appreciated. thanks
