Well it would be a welcome move as there is no where for us MK2 Fiesta owners to go, First job is to get it roadworthy and solid and see how it goes.

Thanks not what I need, Type 2 gearbox and Type 3 are both 4 speed, I need to know the overall lengths of these gearboxes.

Due to impending house move, buying an old house and some health issues my MK1 either will be sold or go into storage. Started as LHD shell, now 100% solid, all repairs carried out to a good standard, 1600cc crossflow, std box , english axel, Lots of new parts See pictures, more available, Car is in Cornwall, £8,750

Seem to have opened a can of worms, I accept the S/H ones will need cleaning,checking and will be worn but to get this car running I will accept those problems would just like to know if any of the ebay carbs are suitable for 1600cc crossflow, if anybody can advise on these and others on ebay or if someone on here has one for sale or can advise me on how to identify, no disrespect not sure on Chinese, thanks again

Thanks to all, Carb is stamped 32/36 DGAV, As for manifold my mistake, I have to admit to becoming bogged down in this project, old age, pending house move and an inability to see the obvious. I have messed with old cars all my life but never expected the difficulty in building a car from a rusty shell as we all know MK1 Parts are at a premium, in view of this you are at the mercy of ebay not always the best place to purchase from. thanks again
