  1. Yep! Saw one parked up on the high street yesterday funnily enough!
  2. Thanks for the welcome That's what I thought, hardly any rust on the cars so you would expect there to be but with it being such a big country and not that many people in it there isn't that much about compared to the uk. Only thing I've seen since I've been here is one of the fellas I work with has a nice bubble arched mk1 running a pinto turbo. I am out in the countryside mind you so may be more hiding in the cities.....but they all are quite into their falcons, holdens and jap cars here... Never seen so many non turbo 5 door skylines in my life!
  3. Hiya guys, New to the old ford scene so thought I'd join up to learn a bit! Originally done the 90s escorts, have had several mk4s and done the usual rst conversions etc but have done a couple of zetec ones too and my track car had a rs2000 16v lump in it. But have had to leave those cars in storage as i decided to move to Australia to do a Motorsport course and to get working on some of their v8s....have ended up working for a focus rs specialist here though instead whilst doing the course...not that I'm complaining though! So been looking round trying to find a decent ford that didn't have some whacking great lazy v8 in it and I came across a 1980 cortina with a 2l pinto so I've snapped that up. Nonrustbon it at all, just a dent in the rear quarter and a ripped drivers seat....all in all I'm we'll pleased with it. Hope to be learning a bit from you guys, as the older ford scene here is.....well there isnt really one!
