It did look good when done but sold for £11,500. OMG. Have Escort prices gone mad, it wasn't even a genuine Mexico or RS - seemed a bit steep to me. Even the Purchase price at £4,500 was expensive -or is that me way out of touch? Think I need to get my agreed valuation on my 1300E increased. They did a good job by the looks of it and great to see another Escort geting reborn.

My ride, A completely Standard and original 1300E (ok the steering wheel isn't but if fits in). Original paintwork, vinyl roof and stock 1300 GT engine set-up with very little renovation work having been carried out. I've own for about 19 years although it has been laid up for quite a few years but now up and running and in daily use - ahh, that smell of clasic car when you open the garage door in the morning. Love those old Fords.
