Hi everyone, newbie here from N.Ireland. I have a 1980 Mk1 Fiesta 1.1L keeping it standard with the exception of a 5 speed conversion. I know a lot of you think its a waste on a 1.1 but I only want the extra gear as it will eventually only be used for shows and will not be raced or rallied. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone knows if I get a 5 speed box from an escort will the linkage from that car work or will i have to source a different one. I've read all the posts about the conversion and that the fiesta mk2 one fits but only things i can get here are escort stuff. Any help from anyone would be very much appreciated. I'll post some pics of the fiesta when I get a chance
